Although Nextiva does sell other phones such as Polycom, Yealink, etc., the X-825 is Nextiva’s phone brand. While these phones are not always the cheapest, they tend to have the most flexibility for everyone depending upon the contract agreement.
Specification of Nextiva X-835 IP Phone
Nextiva X-835 IP Phone supports an 8-line capability so that a business can have four shared lines for everyone in the office. Also, it has the typical IP Phone buttons such as directional buttons, initiates a call button, hangs up call button, speakerphone button, volume up and down keys, call transfer button, voicemail button, and do not disturb, and headset enable and disable button. It also contains the typical function keys to perform specific instructions.

Nextiva X-835 IP Phone has a sleek design and colour. It is ideal for leads and supervision because of its multi-page approach to provide additional programmable keys. Because it is 12 lines capable, it probably uses a digital call park to allow users to simultaneously have more shared line appearance line capabilities with actual menu and programmable keys. This phone is a 2.8-inch colour LCD, and it is POE compatible it can be powered with just an Ethernet cable. Also, it is gigabit-capable and has the pass-through to go out to a PC or other internet-capable device.
Compatibility of Nextiva X-835

On Nextiva’s website, the Wi-Fi compatibility of Nextiva X-835 has been mentioned, but this phone does not support Wi-Fi natively. Thus, to connect to Wi-Fi, a third-party dongle is required. There is one USB port along with an RJ-9 port to connect headsets. Also, it contains an expansion module connectivity of up to three, so the EHS interface can be used as an expansion module itself.
Nextiva
The Nextiva X-885 IP Phone encompasses everything on the back and sides in terms of ports and interfaces. There is an AC power adaptor on the leftmost side of the back. There is a pass-through where internet cable can be plugged in. Also, there is an EHS port that you can connect with a 36 or 48-line expansion card to transfer calls across an ample office space. In the middle, there is a wall-mountable piece.

Although the wall mount does not come in the box, it can be purchased separately from Nextiva for a minimal price. The other port option on the back contains the handset port, handset indicator, and RJ-9 port. Also, there is a USB headset with the Nextiva X-835, so you can use a USB port for headset support which is a big plus.

Most phones have good-sized kickstands with different angles for adjustability, but Nextiva IP Phone’s kickstand is pretty big with just one grade. Although the default angle is acceptable, it is difficult to deal with ports and interfaces when the kickstand is on. The other thing regarding the kickstand is that it takes a lot of desk space because of its enormous size. |
