First Impressions
Poly Edge E220 looks good at first glance. Not only it has a really good design with a matt black and white finish, but it is also different from the other Poly VVX and CCX phones. Thus, the notable difference is the two-tone color. From the look perspective, it is ideal for a medical facility or a home office.
The other notable point in the first impressions is the color screen display. It resembles the Poly Edge B-series with the addition of multi-colors. Thus, it has got the best of all the previous versions.
Interfaces
On the back of the Poly Edge E220 desk phone, a 5V AC Adaptor is not included in the box. Thus, the power adaptor has to be bought separately. The phone is POE capable and has a pass-through port next to the AC Adaptor for connectivity. There is also a separate Ethernet port for the internet to connect to a computer or any other supported device.
Poly Edge E220 connects with a headset using the RJ-9 port. Next to this, there is the handset port to attend the calls. There is a USB Type-C port on the right side of the phone, but it cannot be used directly for headset connectivity. However, third-party adapters can be used for that.

Poly Edge B is a 4-line capable phone. It has the typical Poly menu layout with a circular dial, just like the previous series. Apart from the numbered buttons, some other basic phone option buttons include a call on hold, call transfer, volume up and down, headset, speakerphone, and mute. On the first start, the screen shows a Poly agreement and timezone and asks for a few settings to continue. When the handset is lifted, the desk phone has a light indicator that turns green.
