Apart from the Voyager headset itself, the box of this headset contains the instruction/guide manual, the charging base, the DC to AC adaptor power brick, and many electrical power outlets of different standards. Also, it contains Plantronics styled hook switch, a carrying case, and a Micro USB to USB A adaptor.
First Impressions and Specifications
Poly Voyager Focus 2 Office is a three-in-one headset which means that you can use it as a headset, connect it to a computer, or use it with an IP phone or VOIP apps instantly. To listen to media, it is hooked via a USB hook switch or Bluetooth so there are plenty of options.
It has a special Microsoft Teams support that makes it amazing for video conferences and professional meetings. Another thing to point out is that Poly claims that this headset has the best noise cancellation because of the excellent padding and cushioning on the sides.
Although the Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset is a bit bulky, it sits on top of the charging base easily. Its box includes a carrying case with a lot of space and different sections to adjust cables and different power standards without any concerns.
Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset has an adjustable mouthpiece and if you look closely on the side, you can see the volume control buttons and Bluetooth buttons. The up and down buttons can be used to adjust the volume, one button can be used to pair the Bluetooth and the other button can be used to turn Bluetooth on and off. Thus, to connect, you can hold it up so any Bluetooth-capable device will automatically detect and pair it.
For hearing protection, this headset uses discrete noise cancellation with acoustic fence technology from SoundGuard Digital G616 software for both speakers and microphones. The headset itself has got soft cushions that are typical of the Poly series. Thus, the earmuffs provide great noise cancellation because the padding cancels out any external audible noise.

Charging
Having a battery capacity of 560 milliamps, a listening time of up to 19 hours, and a standby capacity of 30 days, it can be ideal in terms of talk time. It charges to be full in approximately two hours if the battery is empty. Also, it has got a smart sensor which means you can answer calls by simply putting the headset on. Similarly, the calls can be muted by taking off the headset.
There are two ways to charge the Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset. The default and feasible way of charging this headset is to simply put it on the charging base. As the headset sits on the base, the contacts get magnetic interferences that charge the headset. However, if you are not in the office or do not have desk space to adjust the base, you can use the included mini USB cable to charge it with a laptop or wall socket.
