How Vonage acquisitions have enhanced the user experience for existing Vonage Customers?
When you look at Vonage’s history, especially over the last five years; we have had several acquisitions starting with Nexmo in the messaging space and New Voice Media in the Contact Center Space. We are going to continue to acquire companies that are strategic to the portfolio. The biggest point is that we want to be in the solutions business, follow the market and see our customers having the biggest challenges; because there are a lot of opportunities. However, we are focused on driving those business outcomes and unlocking; the value that our customers and partners need.
With the recent pandemic, we have seen things that we’ve never witnessed before; and we really are out in the field with our partners and customers. When you look at channels; there’s so much we have done around taking these products, new acquisitions, and solutions. It is because there is such a need to help people; adapt to that new mobile way of working.

As we have seen the traditional UC space; become more commoditized, there’s a dependency to provide a complete solution for your customers. Things like Contact Centers, AI, Messaging, etc. are components of a solution; that was not discussed even five years ago, and now have become requirements as part of a solution that you put in front of your customers. Whether it’s in the SMB space or enterprise, the needs don’t change in terms of the amount of communication; and being able to provide a communication solution; that allows your customers to communicate in whichever manner they want from wherever.
What important features is Vonage offering to help the mobile workforce?
A couple of upfront prints would be the voice and net integration into some of our solution sets. In this new hybrid work environment, whether you are working from home; or office at different points, the key is how to integrate. I think there are a lot of point solutions out in the market; such as UC and C-cass and then you look at our microservices; and APIs; so, we have got the full breadth and depth so the key is that; we adjusted effectively in servicing those customers and partners in this new hybrid. I think those additional features of video; voice and making sure that integration is there; in seamlessly a big differentiator for Vonage.
The idea is that our platform has been uniquely positioned to provide this kind of solution even before the pandemic allowed us to be responsive with respect to the needs of our customers. So, we heard from our partners about the video. The reality is in this new world, people need solutions immediately and we’ll always continue to innovate as we move forward.

What’s New at Vonage in 2022?
We have recently acquired an AI company and so we are going to drive a lot more AI into our solution set and I am super excited about what we are launching and we’ll continue to launch around AI because that is the real differentiator. Publicly, we are in the process of reaching an agreement with Ericson that should happen in the second quarter and we are excited because when you look at their 5G technology and our whole portfolio, you see opportunities. There is so much more value in business outcomes we can drive to the market.
We’ll continue to focus within the channel on some of the more non-traditional partnerships with respect to our alignment with Salesforce, Google Chrome OS, Microsoft Teams, or things that we’re doing to help partners understand the tremendous opportunity that lies ahead in this space.
