Why we don’t Recommend Zoom Phone Anymore?
Zoom has been working in the VOIP industry for quite a while now. Although most of the popular VOIP providers are far more experienced and widespread as compared to Zoom, it has made its name in the industry.
However, there are a lot of issues that have made us stop recommending Zoom Phone to any of our customers for the foreseeable future. In this article, we are uncovering all of them so that people get to know the intensity of the situation.
Providing the best requirements to businesses according to their needs, we have recommended Zoom’s Ucast VOIP platform to many of our customers in the past. But we have experienced a lot of turbulence in regards to Zoom’s service that has led us to discontinue its recommendation to different businesses.
Why don’t we recommend Zoom Phones anymore?
Rich Technology Group acts as an intermediary between different businesses and VOIP providers to create the best match. Following this method, we connect with VOIP companies to provide price quotes according to specific business requirements.
The biggest complaint that we have in this regard is that Zoom’s customer service takes forever to give price quotes according to specific business requirements. Without questions, Zoom can be regarded as a crown holder for the longest amount of time to provide simple quotes.
Rich Technology Group follows a business model in which businesses call us directly and based on their synopsis and requirement analysis, we provide them with the best VOIP recommendations.
When we send a client’s request to the service provider, it becomes our hot lead. As we have already spent valuable time and need to pre-qualify businesses to specific VOIP, we cannot afford to hold them for 2-3 weeks.
Most of our valuable connections at different VOIP services provide us with the demo and price quote to meet our time constraints, so we manage to retain the business with a happy and healthy relationship. However, this is not the case with Zoom as they act so late, that our lead and potential future business fade away. In the past, Zoom has acted so obtusely to give us the price quote that we ran out of excuses to the customers. We have already tried to explain Zoom’s negligence to different clients, but ultimately the major concern is at Zoom’s end.
This issue has led clients to get in contact with Zoom directly which makes our time and value-driven effort insignificant as all our findings to follow specific VOIP service goes in vain. Explaining this concern to Zoom directly, Rich Technology Group has tried to convey that this slackness is affecting their business, but Zoom’s unresponsiveness is pretty evident.
Different businesses demand Rich Technology Group to provide demos of distinct VOIP features. This has worked out pretty well with many of the best VOIP providers in the market such as Nextiva, Vonage, Ring Central, etc. but when it comes to Zoom, we have dealt with consistently non-existent follow-up.
We get emails and messages from clients who wanted demos a few days ago but we are not able to fulfil their requests as the customer support at Zoom is totally irresponsible and unprofessional. Pertaining to Zoom’s share and market value, this kind of service is amateur. Rich Technology Group has grown a lot over the last few years. Thus, we get hundreds of calls, emails, and messages each day from businesses requesting demos and quotes. Considering this situation, we do not want us and our customers to go through the painful process of the long wait.
Zoom’s policy that made us totally discredit them is that they require a business to have a cooperate email. Thus, these policies and procedures are designed in a way to retain only a specific chunk to top-tier businesses, disregarding the other organizations. Most of Zoom’s competitor VOIP providers are even able to complete the contract within 2-3 weeks the policies at Zoom make it completely inefficient to work in a fast-paced environment.
Because of all of these concerns, we have officially decided to separate our ways with Zoom. That may change depending on their future policies, support, and client respect. In case that happens, Rich Technology Group is here to update. Our goal is to bring qualified customers to VOIP providers and equally help customers fulfill their VOIP needs.
Policies designed to screw this model without any compensation should be shameful. With that being said, Rich Technology Group is here to honestly provide value to customers. Therefore, get in touch with us to get the best pricing of VOIP services.
