Yealink T58W Pro with Webcam Unboxing and First Impressions!
Yealink has launched the Yealink T58W Pro with a Webcam that supports a fully wireless handset. Despite many cordless and Bluetooth IP phones, Rich Technology Group has always wondered why wireless handsets aren’t available with a regular IP phone. Well, by following the customer’s expectations, Yealink has launched the T58W Pro with a Webcam that supports a fully wireless handset.
This full-fledged IP desk phone has all the features that a business needs and offers webcam and Android support, so it is the pioneer of the intelligent IP phone. In this article, Rich Technology Group has provided all the features, interfaces, specifications, and pros and cons to help users understand the details of this Phone.
What’s in the Box?
Apart from the Phone itself, Yealink T58W Pro with Webcam box contains the user guide manual, 6 feet CAT5E cable, Bluetooth handset, a kickstand for the Phone’s back, and the webcam to attach on top of the screen.
Interfaces and Outlets
The buttons and layout of the Yealink T58W Pro with Webcam are similar to the Yealink T46S and T54W, both in two different series and two different eras. From left to right, there is a call hold button, numeric keypad, headset enablement mic button, mute mic button, and speakerphone, so it is pretty typical regarding the button layout.
Unlike Yealink T54W and T46S, this Phone has a touchscreen to initiate calls, and different features and functions can be used like call transfer, mute, do not disturb, apps, and more. The webcam of Yealink T58W Pro can be installed on the top. A small light on the side of the camera turns on when the camera is fixed in the proper position.
Unlike typical IP Phones, Yealink T58W Pro with Webcam is a wireless handset with no ports on the bottom. It simply charges by making contacts with the Phone, and it uses Bluetooth to connect the Phone. It supports Yealink’s HD sound quality on both the handset and speakerphone. There are a few buttons on the handset to mute, answer, or hang up calls. Also, there are volume up and down buttons on the side of the handset for convenience.
On the back of the Phone, there is a phone lock, PC port, standard internet port to provide internet, and power to the Phone as Power over Ethernet (POE) is supported. There is also a 5V DC adaptor port to power the Phone. Typically, getting this Phone from Amazon or any other third-party store does not include the DC charger. So, it has to be bought separately. Also, there is an RJ-9 port if a traditional handset is required to use this.
The kickstand of Yealink T58W Pro with Webcam has one angle but as the screen can be adjusted, simply fitting the kickstand and using the screen to angle the Phone is excellent. Finally, there are slots for USB ports on the back that provide the capability to connect the USB headset, so there are multiple options.
