If you get this phone in a kit, it will come with a wireless base but most of these phones also come without the wireless base so it is a personal preference. This phone can be paired with the Yealink W60P IP Phone base as well so in case you have any pre-existing base to use with this phone, it is a plus.
The instruction manual in the box has got different technical bullet points and how-to guides for beginners. Also, it can be used to learn about the initial setup and different phone functions. The phone connects to the chargeable base for charging. The base also connects to the Ethernet network using cat5 or cat6. Thus, that covers the connectivity. The base has a charging brick that recharges the phone using a detachable battery.
